I like to look back at things, seeing how everything fell into place. So here is a history of all things Retromat. Let’s be real, it’s mostly for myself 😉

2020

Plans as of 20200601 – We’re in the middle of the Corona crisis. Retromat contains 139 activities. I’ve started working on new book, due August 2020. Retromat memberships will launch in September 2020. I will also revive the newsletter then.

20200114 – it-agile starts distributing Print Retromat, giving me time focus on core Retromat stuff

2019

20191027 – Not much happened because I was courting burn out. Eventually I asked for everyone’s help to make Retromat sustainable

2018

20180524 – Chinese version of Retromat launched

20180523 – Retromat’s home is now retromat.org

20180820 – Retromat Blog launched

2017

20171215 – Russian version of Retromat launched

2016

2016223 – Retromat v2 launched – During 2016, Timon Fiddike joined me and rewrote the backend to be search-engine-friendly

20161027 – The Retromat eBook with all 120+ activities launched

2015

20150729 – Dutch version of Retromat launched

20150407 – 100 Activities in Retromat \o/

20150210 – “Retr-O-Mat” becomes “Retromat”

20150122 – German version of Retromat launched

2014

20140916 – Spanish version of Retromat launched

20140128 – French version of Retromat launched – the first translation!

2013

20131127 – The first edition of Print Retromat went on sale

2012

20120506 – Retr-O-Mat goes live at plans-for-retrospectives.com with 16 activities
